Time for Pelosi to withdraw her comments

Ed Lasky
One of the many benefits of release of the 26 page transcript Khalid Sheikh Mohammed's confession to 9/11 and other plots is that we should no longer have to hear Nancy Pelosi claiming that
"not a single terrorist who planned 9/11 has been caught and brought to justice."
Come to think of it, by the standards of the virulent critics of the President, one could say that "Pelosi lied" and she should now apologize for it. After all, KSM was in custody at the time she made the above statement, and may well have already confessed. If her intelligence was incomplete, that is no excuse, by the standards of the Daily Kos crowd.

Somehow, I don't expect there will be any such chorus. Still, having made such a complaint, Pelosi should now withdraw her earlier comment and congratulate the President on accomplishing something she obviously felt was very important.

Don't hold your breath.
