January 20, 2007 US secret force against Iranian influence in IraqUS News & World Report tells us of a secret unit operating in Iraq to erode Iranian influence This is a good thing, but I hope the USNWR article doesn't reveal everything important: like how come they are not operating in Iran? Seals, Delta, CIA are all assets trained to operate at the strategic level. If they are confined exclusively to Iraq, it's a waste of men and materiel. |
