24 Panic (a poem)
Mimi Evans Winship
With terrorists wreaking havoc and nukes exploding, The correct media is pathetically imploding. Jack Bauer is scaring them all to death. The American public is holding its breath Watching our favorite hero buckling a swash. Have we really not learned our lessons? Gosh…
Can this be true? CNN thought it had Taught us that patriotic meddlers are bad. Is it somehow that we are now resisting What the intellectualoids keep insisting Is best for us? To shun them all is long overdue. And most of us couldn’t care less, could you?
