October 31, 2006 How to make propagandaGawker has spotted what looks a lot like a propaganda operation in the making from our friends at CBS News.
I have some other ideas CBS might want to try out: Do your get nervous when you see a white male with an American flag lapel pin on his suit? Have your opinions about people who display patriotism changed since President Bush was re—elected? A new CBS show seeks Berkeley people who have progressive values but are uneasy about unabashed love for America? Or how about this? Do you get nervous around straight couples with small children? Do you and your friends feel threatened by breeders? A new CBS show seeks East Village people who have cutting edge values and are uneasy with the whole Ozzie and Harriet thing. See how easy it is? You can find any bigotry you set out to look for. It's as easy as blowing up a Ford pickup truck. Hat tip: Larwyn Thomas Lifson 10 31 06 |
