Democrats on outsourcing policy to children

There is a history of Democrats outsourcing our government policy to children (also known as greats moments of Democrat oratory). See
Jimmy Carter (on the prospects of nuclear war and disarmament):

MR. CARTER: I think, to close out this discussion, it would be better to put into perspective what we're talking about. I had a discussion with my daughter, Amy, the other day, before I came here, to ask her what the most important issue was. She said she thought nuclear weaponry — and the control of nuclear arms.

Now we have Speaker—Expect Nancy Pelosi:

"The gavel of the speaker of the House is in the hands of special interests, and now it will be in the hands of America's children."

Childish policies are one thing, but policies formulated by children are even worse.
