NYT hypocrisy on display (again)

By

The Inter American Press Association, a media watchdog group protecting a free press, has issued a report highly critical of the Chavez regime in Venezuela. Freedom of the press is on the way out there.

AP reported it. But so far, the New York Times, which prides itself on its international coverage does not seem to find this news fit to print. Didn't they just mouth noble sentiments about the freedom of the press to justify publishing intelligence secrets in wartime? Why don't they cover a Marxist who is destroying freedom of the press in an important country nearby?
