Kudos again to Ray Robison and Fox News for translating some of the vital documents capotured in Baghdad, recently declassified and and made publicly available for open source translation. Ray and his Iraqi associate "Sammi" have now published their third installment of direct evidence that Saddam's regime was playing footsie and more with the Taliban regime and with Al Qaeda itself. Here is Ray's summary of what has been learned from the IIS (Iraqi Intelligence Service) documents: We learned that in 1999 the IIS met with three significant leaders of Islamic jhad from Afghanistan: a warlord and Islamic jihadist; an Al Qaeda leader; and, a man known as the 'Father of the Taliban.' The Saddam regime and Taliban leadership agreed to diplomatic ties and a secret intelligence service relationship. They discussed security cooperation with Hekmatyar's Islamic Jihad group.
