The sundry versions of the tale of the Katrina vid have been the products of the imaginations of Associated Press reporters Margaret Ebrahim, the ex—60 Minutes II producer, John Solomon, and Lara Jakes Jordan.

 

Kevin Aylward talks about Maggy Ebrahim's Rather/Mapes connection. but Ebrahim was also a senior associate at the Center for Public Integrity, an outfit funded by George Soros (read their disclaimer at the bottom of the piece).

 

That woman, Ms. Ebrahim, is also a contributor to the hard left magazine The Nation. We're not talking about the wishy—washy, half—baked, center—left publications like The New Republic and Newsweek. Put with Mother Jones Earth News, The Nation represents the fiction of the American Left.
