NYT Implies Israel all but Created Hamas

Well..the Times did not exactly state this, but one might draw the conclusion that the violence erupting in the Gaza Strip is Israel's fault if you read this paragraph in today' article:

The densely populated, heavily armed territory is taut with frustration from decades of political injustices, restricted freedoms, stunted economic development and the violent culture of its militias and their suicide bombers. Gaza threatens to turn on itself now that Israel has withdrawn.

Hmm.. nothing about Islamic preachers calling for violence, nothing about the perils of victimology, nothing about Hamas becoming pawns of Iran for geopolitical reasons, nothing about an educational system that preaches hate, nothing about how Gazans have sabotaged their own econmic livelihoods.
