Not only does Congressman Delahunt of Massachusetts expect us to buy an unlikley story, he is playing footsie and receiving valuable campaign assistance from a foreign tyrant of the Marxist and anti—Semitic persuasion.
There seems to be a trend among the Democratic Congressmen tword representing noot just their citizens, but also Third World megalomaniacs. For instance, Congressman Delahunt established in 2003 a "Venezuelan Caucus" to show "friendship to President Chavez."
Chavez is the same man who chums it up with Iranian mullahs threatening to destroy Israel and America; he has also been of late indulging in some severe anti—Semitism — including sending his version of the state police to "raid" a Jewish children's school.
Chavez has offered to ship 285,000 barrels of oil to Massachusettes at a 40% discount to curry favor with Congressman Delahunt and help his reelection chances. Is this comparable to foreigners funding Congressional campaigns? Such would be illegal as a violation of federal campaign Finance Laws. Seemingly, Congressman Delahunt and his family have sold themselves out to two anti—Semitic terror supporting states for a few barrels of discounted oil.
