It is bad on campus, as we know. However, when it happens to your kid, it seems worse. Yesterday was the first day of an American History course for the child of one of us (blogger and child will remain anonymous, out of fear of retaliation) on one of America's most famous campuses. Here is a direct quote from the lectern, (so startling it was transcribed verbatim into the note book) as to the final topic the students would be studying in the course:
"The rolling back of the greatest accomplishments of the Twentieth Century by neo—conservatives."
