September 17, 2005 PVS diagnosis: reward offeredDr. C.B. Boyle, a radiologist who has interpreted over 10,000 brain CT scans is offering a $100,000 reward for any neurologist who can predict more than 60% of the time which patients have PVS on the basis of a CT scan. He is disgusted by the parade of "experts" who are not experienced in the interpretations of the normal variations in CT scans, and asserts that Terri Schiavo's CT was consistent that CT scans of many functional octogenarians. And by the way, he will up the reward to $125,000 for anyone who is a neurologist AND a bioethicist, like Dr. Ronald Cranford, who testified in Terri's and numerous other important "right to die" cases.
