Obama: The Weak Horse

The Islamic war on the west has been going on since Mohammed was declared the prophet of Allah in the seventh century.  For nearly fourteen hundred years, Islam has waged a holy war against all other religions and peoples of the world.  The first invasion of Europe began in the eighth century.  Some historians believe that if the Muslims had not been defeated at the Battle of Tours in 732, much of Europe would be Muslim today.

But wait -- much of Europe is Muslim today.

Islam wages war in two ways: infiltration and invasion.  They failed to take Europe by invasion but, through liberal government immigration and welfare policies, have gained a solid foothold in the twentieth century and now threaten their host countries.

The former president of Algeria, Houari Boumédienne (Mohammed Ben Brahim Boukharouba), said, in his April 10, 1974 speech to the United Nations:

One day, millions of men will leave the Southern Hemisphere to go to the Northern Hemisphere. And they will not go there as friends. Because they will go there to conquer it. And they will conquer it with their sons. The wombs of our women will give us victory.

Islam and Western civilization are incompatible.  They cannot coexist.  While the West invites Muslims to share the world with them, the Islamic faith commands its followers to conquer the West and kill or subjugate all non-believers.  This is the formula for cultural suicide and the end of civilization.

Do not think that the mosques and "community centers" that are being built in American cities are anything other than enemy outposts.  Today in the United States, we are subject to massive infiltration, with the blessing and help of our government.  We are also under the constant threat of Islamic terrorism.

Eleven years after the Islamic attack on the United States on September 11, 2001, I thought it would be worthwhile to review the enemy's thinking and motivation behind their insidious attack, and to consider how we are dealing with our Islamic enemies.

9/11 and The Verse of the Sword

In mid-November 2001, a scant month after the infamous 9/11 attack on America, Osama bin Laden addressed a group of his supporters in Afghanistan.  His address was videotaped, and a copy was made available to the West for propaganda purposes.  Excerpts from a transcript of the Osama bin Laden videotape are reproduced below.

OBL: (...Inaudible...) when people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature, they will like the strong horse. This is only one goal; those who want people to worship the lord of the people, without following that doctrine, will be following the doctrine of Muhammad, peace be upon him.

(OBL quotes several short and incomplete Hadith verses, as follows): "I was ordered to fight the people until they say there is no god but Allah, and his prophet Muhammad."

Osama bin Laden is referring to The Verse of the Sword: Sura 9:5 of the Koran.

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them. If they repent and take to prayer and render the alms levy, allow them to go their way. God is forgiving and merciful.

This verse is interpreted in different ways, and indeed some even claim that it means that Muslims are commanded by Allah not to seek out and kill all unbelievers, but rather to act in self-defense only.  Others claim that the verse means that Christians, Jews, and others are given the choice to submit to Islam, and if they do so, they can pay alms (or jizya protection money), pray to Allah, and live in peace.  Militant Islamists, however, interpret the verse exactly as it is written.

In Islam, the world is divided into two houses: the House of Peace, Dar al-Islam, and the House of War, Dar al-harb.  There are no other choices given.  Peace with Islam means either submission and conversion to Islam or submission and living in subjugation and paying tribute (jizya) to the Muslim masters.  The only alternative to these two choices is death.

OBL: (...Inaudible...) we calculated in advance the number of casualties from the enemy, who would be killed based on the position of the tower. We calculated that the floors that would be hit would be three or four floors. I was the most optimistic of them all. (...Inaudible...) due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we had hoped for.

Shaykh: Allah be praised.

OBL: They were overjoyed when the first plane hit the building, so I said to them: be patient. The difference between the first and the second plane hitting the towers was twenty minutes. And the difference between the first plane and the plane that hit the Pentagon was one hour.

The Trojan Horse in Our Living Room

Islam is patient. The Islamists will infiltrate our societies, go on government welfare, and produce large families ("The wombs of our women will give us victory."), supported by those Western states foolish enough to allow them into their societies.  Does the West even recognize the threat?  Does America?  Does Dearborn, Michigan?  Or Murfreesboro, Tennessee?

After 9/11, Barack Obama called for religious tolerance.  The term "tolerance" is a Trojan-horse code word used by the left, communists, and Islamists to attack and destroy Christian values, American constitutional government, and Western culture.  On the ninth anniversary of the September 11 attacks, Obama said:

They may seek to spark conflict between different faiths, but as Americans, we are not -- and never will be -- at war with Islam[.] ... It was not a religion that attacked us that September day; it was Al Qaeda -- a sorry band of men which perverts religion.

Just as we condemn intolerance and extremism abroad, so will we stay true to our traditions at home as a diverse and tolerant nation.

This statement is completely false.  It is designed to mislead and distract the American people from the direct threat we face from Islam.  The problem isn't al-Qaeda; it is Islam, which spawned al-Qaeda and many more terrorist groups and spread them throughout the world.  This is the unspeakable truth that Western leaders cannot face.  The West's "tolerance" of Islamic encroachment, power, and influence actively promotes terrorism and the increase of radical Islam.

Albert Einstein said, "The world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it."  Einstein was a Jew who saw Adolf Hitler and the Nazis rise to power in Germany.  By tolerating evil, Western political leaders put those who love freedom and liberty in extreme peril.  Leadership is not merely lacking: it is treacherously absent.  The president of the United States of America has traditionally provided leadership for the free world.  However, Barack Hussein Obama has failed to provide any effective leadership whatsoever to resolve the issues brought forth by the rise of Islam.  To the contrary, what ineffective gestures he has made to date have only increased our danger.  Many people wonder how this could be.

The Obama administration covertly and openly supports the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic terrorist groups.  The director of National Intelligence has described the Muslim Brotherhood as a "largely secular group" that has "eschewed violence."  The State Department just sent the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt a whopping $1,500,000,000 to support their cause.  The FBI has altered its training materials to remove items that are "offensive" to Muslims.  The director of Homeland Security has removed the word "terrorism" from her lexicon and replaced it with "man-caused disaster."  Countless other examples exist of how the Obama administration is actively supporting Islamists inside the United States and in other countries.

Perilous Leadership

The British writer Anthony Browne wrote, in his 2004 article in The Spectator (which no longer links their article):

There's no plot. Islam really does want to conquer the world. That's because Muslims, unlike many Christians, actually believe they are right, and that their religion is the path to salvation for all.

A prominent leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Mahdi Othman 'Akef, has said, "I have complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America, because Islam has logic and a mission."  There can no longer be any question as to the driving objectives and ultimate goal of Islam: world conquest and complete submission.  We can no longer allow our political leaders to deny this essential reality or continue to avoid dealing effectively with it.  We cannot depend on the Europeans.  They are lost.  It is up to Americans now.

 Obama's bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia; his hopeless incapacity or disinterest in stopping Iran's development of nuclear weapons; his illegal and ill-advised entanglements in the Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, and Libya; his interfering with the rules of engagement in Afghanistan; and his dithering in Iraq -- his countless blunders and misguided ideology -- all send a clear message to our Islamic enemies: Barack Hussein Obama is a weak horse.  America is an easy target.

The tragic horror of Libyan terrorists invading the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and killing Ambassador Stevens and three other diplomats, dragging their bodies through the streets, and the Egyptian protestors who invaded our embassy in Cairo, Egypt, ripping down the American flag and replacing it with a black Islamic flag make for clear messages from the Islamists.  They are telling the world exactly what they think of Obama's America.

We cannot mollify the Islamists with State Department apologies to "misguided individuals" who invade our embassies.  This conflict cannot be resolved through an "alliance of moderation," as Tony Blair and his ilk believe. There is no moderation in Islam.  This conflict can be resolved only through a test of wills and resources.  And many Americans do not believe we have the leadership and resolve needed to do what is necessary.

Arnold Toynbee, the eminent British historian, said, "Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder."  I think this is true and is exactly what we are doing to ourselves: suicide by leftist ideology and political correctness.

When Americans elect leaders who fail to lead, who have a misguided vision for the future of our nation, and who refuse to defend us from our enemies, we provide ourselves with the means for self-destruction.  The United States must get its house in order -- before Islam confronts us with its two ugly choices: the House of Peace, Dar al-Islam, or the House of War, Dar al-harb.

President Barack Hussein Obama, who was born, raised, and educated as a Muslim, once wrote, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

The political winds have shifted in an ugly direction, Mr. President.  With whom do you stand today?
