Obama's Problem Obeying the Law
There is ample evidence that Barack Obama, and people under his supervision, committed at least one felony -- specifically, illegal gambling across state lines -- to fund his 2008 election campaign. Congress, meanwhile, found Obama's attorney general, Eric Holder, in contempt for refusal to testify about Operation Fast and Furious. Orchestration of straw purchases of firearms, one of which resulted in the death of a law enforcement officer, could easily be another felony.
The Obama Campaign's Numbers Racket
The general definition of a lottery is an activity that includes (1) mandatory payment of consideration -- i.e., money -- as a condition of participation, (2) a prize -- i.e., anything of value, such as an expenses-paid trip, and (3) an element of chance in the selection of the prize winners. It is against federal law to conduct a lottery across state lines, and it is illegal in almost every state to conduct an unauthorized or unlicensed lottery or other gambling activity. This is true even in states like Nevada that are famous for their (licensed) gambling establishments.
The Obama campaign ran at least two such lotteries in 2007 and 2008 before changing them to allow entry without a contribution. The change was the direct result of complaints from a law enforcement agency. There is still a YouTube video of Mr. Obama himself making a pitch for one of these lotteries, and here is an e-mail from the Obama campaign with the relevant parts of the full headers. IP address 126.96.36.199 still traces to Blue State Digital, which was indeed the service provider for the Obama campaign. (This does not mean that Blue State Digital was involved in any way with the alleged illegal actions of the Obama campaign; it is, however, evidence that the following e-mail came from the Obama campaign and was not circulated by a malicious third party.) We have highlighted the three elements of a lottery: payment of consideration, element of chance, and a prize of value. We have also bolded evidence that the lottery was dishonest, and that it cheated many of those who entered.

This e-mail did not indicate any means of entering this lottery without payment of the indicated consideration. Note also the announcement of a winner before the deadline for entries. A typical mob-run numbers racket, while equally illegal, is at least an honest bet. The White House's current occupant, whose administration Judson Philips calls the most corrupt since Richard Nixon's, therefore cheated his own donors and supporters.
Here is yet another YouTube video, with a link to BarackObama.com, in which Obama makes a similar proposition for the 2008 Democratic National Convention. It is important to note, however, that similar propositions this year allow entry without a donation and are therefore legal.
Fast and Furious: an Unprovoked Act of War Against Mexico
Dontlie.org, which is a joint project of the BATFE and National Shooting Sports Foundation, reminds citizens and gun dealers that the purchase of a firearm for a prohibited person is a felony punishable by up to ten years in prison. Barack Obama's so-called Justice Department, of which BATFE is a part, nonetheless orchestrated more than two thousand straw purchases of firearms for Mexican drug gangs. The drug gangs then used them to murder at least one U.S. law enforcement officer (Brian Terry) and possibly another (Jaime Zapata), and more than 150 Mexican nationals.
Fast and Furious was therefore not only a rogue cop-killing operation, but also a likely act of war against a friendly nation. The Obama Justice Department therefore put the United States into the same category as rogue nations like Iran that supply weapons to terrorists. The same so-called Justice Department now refuses to prosecute Eric Holder for contempt of Congress, thus underscoring the fact that the Obama regime has one set of laws for those in his inner circle and another for everybody else.
Refuses to Enforce Immigration Laws
Barack Obama's statement that "children of illegal immigrants who met certain criteria could receive renewable two-year work permits and avoid deportation" could easily violate a law that Congress passed in 1996 and that President Clinton signed. In other words, Obama believes that his position gives him the power to make and repeal laws without all the bother of a vote in Congress.
The president also warned an "unelected group of people" -- i.e., the U.S. Supreme Court -- against striking down his health care legislation. This reinforces the belief that Obama was never qualified for Harvard Law School. Everybody who has passed even a high school civics course knows that the Supreme Court has the constitutional authority to rule on the legitimacy of laws. Mr. Obama has indeed acted as if the United States has only one branch of government, which makes him a king and not a president.
Even the much-maligned King George III was not above the laws of England, but Americans nonetheless threw off his government because of abuses such as taxation without representation, along with suppression of colonial manufacturing industries. King Barack has shown repeatedly that he believes his regime to be above the laws of the United States. If Congress will not remove him through impeachment, which it has ample cause to do, voters must assume this responsibility in November.
